We Dare to RALLY! – #DareForDDAM

On March 7th, over 50 Self-Advocates, staff, and family members from FREE came together with countless others from across the state to rally in Hauppauge, standing strong for the future of I/DD services in New York. 🚨
We are calling for vital changes to support Medicaid-funded programs, including:
✔️ A 7.8% inflationary increase
✔️ The establishment of a human services wage commission
✔️ Moving non-profit rate setting back to OPWDD
These services are already struggling from years of underinvestment. Cuts to Medicaid would devastate our field, and we can’t afford to let that happen!
