Initial Screening and Assessment
When initially seeking services, individuals will meet with a licensed therapist for an initial screening and assessment. This assessment will determine the initial path forward in regard to their treatment goals. An individual in the intake process will receive up to three initial screening visits to allow our clinicians to thoroughly evaluate the needs of each applicant and ensure an appropriate course of treatment.
Psychiatric Evaluation
Once the initial screening and assessment is completed, the individual will be set up for an appointment with one of our prescribers. This appointment, in addition to the initial screening and assessment helps to appropriately diagnosis the individual and prescribe a course of treatment designed to ameliorate symptoms and promote recovery.
Medication Therapy
If required, a course of treatment that includes medication can be prescribed. All clients are educated regarding the medication prescribed and are made fully aware of what they can expect from various courses of medication therapy.
Verbal Therapy
Individuals that require verbal therapy with any of our mental health professionals will receive such. Scheduling is arranged to be as convenient as possible and is currently being offered via telehealth and in person.
Group Therapy
FREE conducts group therapy sessions for its clients. Individuals who benefit from peer support and communication find this mode of therapy helpful. There are a wide variety of groups are offered on a weekly basis. Group sessions are available in person and virtually.
Consumer Advocacy
For those needing support from other agencies or simply seeking an alternate means to gain assistance, FREE can help by reaching out and using its considerable resources to link clients to appropriate programs and facilities.
Mobile Medical Supports
For those who do not have a stable housing environment, are homeless or in crisis settings, the Mobile Medical Support Team (MMST) will connect this vulnerable population to needed primary and preventative care. The provision of services provided by the Team will support individuals in great need of meeting their behavioral and medical health needs as they secure more permanent housing.
Substance Use Outpatient Treatment
Certified Alcohol and Substance Use Counselor (CASAC) will provide individual, family and group substance use therapy. A CASAC will work with you on your road to recovery to assist in meeting your ultimate goals and treatment outcomes, even if this means harm reduction.
Rehabilitation Counselors
A Rehabilitation Counselor will coordinate and facilitate vocational rehabilitation and other employment-related services. They will help create resumes, cover and thank you letters, as well as work on skill-building in the office, at home, or on a job site. They will provide ongoing coaching/support and additional visits to individuals volunteering on-site and working in the community at their location of choice.
Targeted Case Management
A case manager will work to address any areas of need that will aid in recovery including but not limited to: referrals to community resources, employment, and vocational assistance, housing assistance, as well as many other supports. Case Manager can meet with you at home, at the clinic or in the community.
Peer Supports
Certified peer specialists (staff members who also receive services for behavioral health) will provide individual, group, and family support and counseling. Our specially trained staff can work with you at home, at the clinic, or in the community to help you restore your well-being and build skills in any area of your life.
