FREE, Inc. celebrates National Nurses Week (May 6-12) by honoring our valued nursing team. The purpose of National Nurses Week is to raise public awareness of the value of nursing and the vital roles nurses serve in delivering health care services to the people in their care. This is particularly true during this unprecedented time. In honor of nurses week, let us extend our gratitude and appreciation for all that you do on behalf of the people we are privileged to support and their families/loved ones. We recognize that nursing is a profession steeped in rich values due to the character of the people that commit to the calling. As front-line care providers, you all work tirelessly to meet the needs of our those we serve at all hours of the day and night. We acknowledge that our field does present unique challenges and the role is multi-faceted and requires you to wear many hats. You are healers, expert assessors, advocates, teachers, confidants and valued colleagues. Whether you practice in day services, housing, a clinic or any of the other areas that nurses work at FREE, you all remain a constant presence on which the people we serve and families can count. We appreciate your knowledge, expertise and commitment to working with those we serve and the operating teams to deliver high quality services.
We are proud to work alongside you as we serve those receiving services in FREE’s many service areas. For these and many more reasons, we thank each and every one of you for the part you play in contributing to the high standard of nursing excellence that is so self-evident here at FREE, Inc.
Respectfully, Chris
