Vincent Cona, CPA, joined the FREE Accounting Department in August 2011 as the Assistant Controller for Medicaid and other fee-for-service billing. Since then, he has played an integral role in the department’s growth alongside the expanding scope of services within the FREE Network. In 2014, Vincent was promoted to Controller for Revenue & Reimbursement, where he assumed responsibility for managing contracts, claims, and all sources of revenue. His leadership and expertise led to his promotion in 2017 to Vice President of Accounting, overseeing internal and external reporting, as well as budgeting functions.
Before his tenure with FREE, Vincent gained valuable experience as an auditor at Holtz Rubenstein (now Baker Tilly), which equipped him with a strong foundation in audit practices that he has brought to his work in financial management at FREE. Vincent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Hofstra University.
As CFO, Vincent continues to drive the financial strategy and operations of the organization, leveraging his extensive experience and keen understanding of the industry to ensure the continued success of the FREE Network.
