Beware of scams implying association with FREE, Inc.

- FREE does not advertise opportunities to work from home
- FREE never asks for money for recruitment
- FREE never asks employees or applicants to send personal banking information by email, text or remotely
Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) is aware of various communications being circulated electronically and by mail, falsely stating that they are issued by or associated with FREE, its affiliates Adelante, Skills and TRI, and/or their officials.
These are scams, which may seek to extract money and/or personal details from the recipients, are fraudulent.
FREE assumes no responsibility for any consequences, including, but not limited to, financial loss and identity theft or other, that may derive from such scams.
These communications and documents, are crafted so that they are made to look like they originate from FREE. They may contain official-looking FREE stationery, including FREE’s logo, emblem or nickname, or some variation thereof, and e-mail or web site addresses, including either Family Residences or FREE or some similar name, or the name of a real FREE affiliate or a fictitious one.
Unauthorized use of the FREE logo, emblem, name or other names in these schemes is illegal, and is being dealt with to the fullest extent of the law. Caution should be exercised in relation to any suspicious communication, as financial loss and identity theft could result from sending money or personal information to those issuing such fraudulent correspondence.
An example of such a scam is:
- Offers of employment or vacancy announcements with requests for payment of fees or purchase of computer equipment. FREE does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, on-boarding or training or any other fees). FREE provides its employee with the equipment needed to perform their jobs.
