OPWDD’s Associate Commissioner and overseer of the NADSP E-Badge Academy Pilot Program visited FREE!

Ms. Alison Pingelski, OPWDD’s Associate Commissioner and overseer of the NADSP E-Badge Academy Pilot Program visited FREE, Inc. on August 15^th.

NYS E-Badge Academy Administrator Kathy Brown and New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities Associate Commissioner, Alison Pingelski, recently visited FREE, Inc. The pair was joined by Robert Budd, John Best and Sharon Geiselmann to congratulate our certified team members and discuss the positive progress of the pilot.

Congratulations to team members Jillian Faltermayer and Lauren Gates who achieved their Front Line Supervisor Certification as well as Loriann Materazzi who earned her DSP1 – Certification.

Special thank you to fellow E-Badge Academy participants, Mona Kelly and Andrea Vance, for being present to witness their colleagues accomplishment.

It was a wonderful recognition of the hard work of the certified team members as well as the recognition of the organizations’ commitment to the certification of direct support professionals and frontline supervisors.
