Record Breaking, 4-Time Gold Medal Winning, Special Olympian to Be Honored with Hero’s Welcome

FREE to Be Joined By State, County, and Local Leaders to Honor Angel Athenas for Her Record Breaking Performance at the 2018 Special Olympics

On Thursday, July 19th, at 10:30 a.m., Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE), is proud to announce that they will be holding a “Hero’s Welcome” at their Old Bethpage headquarters for their record breaking, 4-time gold medal winning, 2018 Special Olympian, Angel Athenas. Angel won 4 gold medals in powerlifting at the 2018 Special Olympics in Seattle, WA. Prior to her feats in Seattle, Angel broke the women’s deadlifting record at the 2018 New York Special Olympics in Albany. FREE will be welcoming State, County, and local leaders in recognizing Angel for all her hard work, and for showing the world that being differently-abled does not mean you are not able.
